We are thrilled about the outcome of our inaugural project: Meet Proud Mary.
 
Co-founded in 2007 by Molly Purnell and Harper Poe, Proud Mary was born from their shared passion for social responsibility and unique design. The two designers met in Brooklyn, NY in 2006 during a mutual search for self-discovery. Both found the need to make their life's work not only fun but also fulfilling. They came up with the idea for a design company that would utilize fair trade materials from developing countries.

Proud Mary's first line consists of three patterns in bright, primary colors. Each pattern is woven by a unique group of Guatemalan artisans whose skills have been honed by the rich tradition of weaving graphic pattern designs inherent in the region. Proud Mary's "Ethnic Modern" aesthetic combines modern design elements with traditional methods of weaving and printing.




Zooma is a Women's Race Series presented by New Balance. It's an exciting new concept that celebrates the power and beauty of all women.
